For those who don’t recognize him, I believe that is Walter Duranty, who was given a politicized Pulitzer Prize for his fawning New York Times reporting on the Soviet Union. The NYT has not changed - they still love America’s enemies and worship freedom’s enemies.
Once again the American fake media protects our enemies when they know full well the civilians we were suppose to have bombed were either put their purposely for this reason or its all bullsh##. Besides when a car bomb goes off killing women and children in a market place, wedding or church everyone say ok and moves on, its expected. no protests death to America or fanfare

The Russians could EASILY see that Pravda and TASS were communist propaganda outlets. Very plainly seen. Universally known for what they were.
Americans are unbelievably blind to the obvious fact, going back to “the most trusted man in America”. Back then, my dad and grandpa were calling it what it was. Plan and simple propaganda outlets.
Good news is they’re losing their hold as alternate media is declaring the truth, but much/most of the US is still blind to what should be so very obvious.
I wish POTUS would change the term from “fake media” to “leftist propaganda outlets”, because even the term “media” lends itself, in the old paradigm, to “news”.

Agree I recall in the late 60’s on shortwave radio Russia ran programs with propaganda with a communist agenda,Our news media has picked up the idea and runs it 24/7/365.

Walter Duranty (1884-1957). He represents the historic, sorry epitome of all New York Times scumbag ownership, editors, reporters and correspondents.
An overseas correspondent and Stalin propagandist, Duranty violated the public trust by sending home pro-soviet reportage and stories even as Russia openly was starving 6 million Ukrainians to death. His breathless pro-Soviet articles dominated the front page of the newspaper for years and years. He received big promotions during his career till his retirement. He even received the Pulitzer prize!
Update:...... nothing much has changed at the scumbag New York Slimes.
