Early Friday morning in Iraq, U.S. forces struck a target at the Baghdad International Airport, killing murderous strongman Qasem Soleimani, head of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' Quds Force (or Iran's “most revered military leader” if you believe the Washington Post). There were a lot of really bad hot-takes on the death of Soleimani, including the aforementioned from the Washington Post, but certainly one of the worst had to be that of "award-winning" BBC Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet, who called the action against Soleimani "murder."
During Thursday night's live BBC new broadcast the anchor asked if Doucet thought it is "too simple to link the embassy attack we've seen over the last few days and that threats that's come out from Donald Trump after that to the killing of Qasem Soleimani and the others that were killed in these attacks."

Countries don’t ever commit murder. Individuals do. Countries quite literally have a license to kill. They are sovereign. If other countries don’t like it, they can go to war with them, like we eventually did with Hitler.

Trump also knew if he shared information with Democrats they would have tipped off Iran... Sounds like Trump knows what he’s doing.

Anyways, Lyse Doucet, it’s the ShitHole East. One day you’re launching rocket attacks, the next day, the rockets are launched at you, it’s “part and parcel” of life in the ShitHole East.
I have been in the opinion that the strike was not enough. These people only understand responses that limit their ability to respond. A single target strike is like poking a stick in the eye of a wild animal. Target and destroy their entire command structure. You should not be able to attack a US Embassy or US assets without some serious response. The coddling and pandering to these organizations needs to stop and I think The “T” Administration believes that or has the similar attitude.
I guess I am just tired of the so called civilized nations not doing anything to stop this aggression when they know the players.
For those that think it was murder or other such nonsense just setup a spare room in their home and have these types stay a while...
