In Los Angeles you’d think that JFK, Princess Di, John Lennon and Michael Jackson had all died at once.

Forget the NBA logo, they may be starting a new religion based on Kobe worship.

Bingo. This is overkill.

24 hours to mourn is ENOUGH. What’s pathetic is I saw Dwayne Wade CRYING ON VIDEO to show how much he misses KB.

Yep. When MLB Commissioner Bart Giamatti died suddenly in 1989,they wanted to change the name baseball to "Bartball."

Place your bets. How long does the NBA resist until it caves. I’ll go first. Just before the first game of the next season."

My bet is 'next week'.

I originally thought that very well might be the case but the more that I read the more that I think that he probably did it.

Especially after his "apology".

His top tier attornies never would have let him basically confess on national tv if he was truly innocent.

Normally these celebrity/athlete deaths don’t bother me. But living in So-Cal and naturally a Lakers fan, I was 15 when he got drafted in the NBA. So I watched him grow up before my eyes while I was growing up. I’m still trying to process the fact that he’s gone. Such a tragic event.

“And Texxon is there.”

When Buckwheat got shot, a lot of people thought it was ridiculing the Reagan shooting. I wasn't that old at the time, but it was obvious to me, even then, that Murphy's ridicule was directed at the media coverage.

I’m not sure about that, nor why it matters, in that he admits he had sex with her, she certainly didn’t force herself on him, her blood was on his shirt, and she showed signs of damage consistent with forcible rape. And she went to the hospital after the incident and got a full examination.

She dropped the criminal case in exchange for an apology that she was not allowed to use at the civil trial.

At some point, his lawyers decided it was best for him to settle his civil case rather than fight it in court.

How long does the NBA resist until it caves.

I, recently, in a paean to my Alma Mater on the 50th anniversary of my graduation, since the ROTC no longer raises the flag at the Administration building, decided to go to a basketball game. They played music from the speaker system, much too loud (my companion was smart enough to bring ear plugs), and, it seemed to be only, rap music. Needless to say, it was my last basketball game.
