What is so controversial about Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Both were military actions designed to force the enemy to surrender. Which they did. As a result, millions of Japanese and American lives were saved when Japan surrendered. People who dare to blame US for H & N should be reminded of Pearl Harbor...

If Hitler had the atomic bomb and a delivery system, he would have nuked London, New York, Moscow, and Washington, D.C. Ditto for the Japanese, although they might have targeted Honolulu, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
