OMG I used to work at Sambos as a waitress when I was 19, I forgot all about that restaurant!! Could you even imagine even SAYING the word Sambo today!! The freedoms we have lost looking back is just beyond frightening!!! The kids today have no idea what the hell it is to live without a MASSIVE government nanny state!!!

Yep, and the story decor I recall had him as an East Indian, light-skinned, maybe a little tan. I never knew of any other way to think of it until recently.
1960's style. I remember this from the early '70's.
