The name that is being rumored for the Iranian General supposedly killed, is General Siamand Mashhadani - but that is not the name of any known Iranian General.

It may have been a code name or Nom de Guerre (an Arabic Kunya) for an Iranian officer trying to be covert.

The US has not claimed that any General was killed.
