Best of luck! We have our masks off when we’re singing, but when we sit down for the sermon, we put them on. If the rest of the congregation has to stifle, so can we.
I was thrown several curves today, but mostly because they began the streaming service with today’s service. And the move to the “north building” will be permanent because there are actually four new wards, two of which are moving into the current building, and two into another one.
The 1330 services will last until January, at which time, we will change to 0900. So until January, I’ll attend the ward that is meeting at 0900 in the “north building.” It’s got to have another name!! I just don’t know what it is, yet!
It also looks as if we’ll be getting a new bishop. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened sooner as his wife has MS and their son is severely mentally challenged. He needs to be at home to care for them.
And of course, this is the day I decided to swap out my phones, and haven’t worked the new one out, just yet. When I got home, there was a message and a phone call on my old phone. Call from my Favorite Son and text from my Favorite Daughter. The former has been taken care of, but I have to play with the text program on my new phone. I transferred the info, including photos but the phone contacts list didn’t make it completely. Some names and numbers, some numbers, but not all in the right places.
Ugh, phones.
Little kitteh in Cologne, Germany, is not doing teh Monday, thanks.
*tagline*
I agree with the kitteh: Nicht Montag.
Good morning.
The laundry is done and the next thing is to finish up the phone.
Last night was another bad night again, but I’m determined to beat this insomnia thing, no matter what.
In one of my saner moments, I decided to check the PoA and instead of my Favorite Son’s name in capital letters I read “SON.” Crikey. I guess that’s what happens when the attorney who drew up the document was pro bono.
I thought I had the document on the hard drive, and there it was. So I made the changes where it said “SON” and put one in the envelope to said SON, along with instructions as to how to sign a document using the PoA, the instructions for the deposit on the apartment and a basic schedule for the shuttle company, since he’s only coming into St George by shuttle and leaving by Uhaul.
Another corrected copy will go to Chuck and the third will go to Terri at Auburn Hills. The only thing I won’t change is the last page which has the signatures.
Then I decided to look at my Will. Yep. More changes, but none last night. They have to take a back seat to today’s doings.
Good morning. I had catz for sleepz.
It’s starting to get light here. I think a warm day is planned. Patrick doesn’t have work, which means extra Driving Adventures, woo-hoo.
Well, here we are at Monday again. This keeps happening.
Happy Monday, everyone.
Compared to the alternative ...
I dunno. I could take a week of Sundays. It seems I’ve heard that phrase somewhere but I can’t recall the context.
Rain this morning - although it waited to start until after I had put the puppy out. I think cooler temps follow.
I hate to even think of the rest of the day, planned or unplanned.
The new phone has to complete the charge before I can complete the activation. It’s a good thing I can do it from here, because the store is in Washington (8 miles away) and it doesn’t open until noon. What???
Good luck on the extra Driving Adventures!
Yes, it is Monday again. Why does it keep happening? It’s like something out of Kafka.
Happy Monday, anyway, ArGee.
No rain here, though the temps are a lot cooler. Right now, it’s 62°. There was a fierce wind blowing when I went out to wash the clothes, but it’s died down now.
I want to go to bed, just a nap, you know, but the bed hasn’t been made, yet, so a nap has to wait a bit. Like until bedtime this afternoon. After the rug is cleaned. Again. Unngh.
It’s warm here. I think we’re supposed to have cooler weather for the weekend.
James and Frank.
*sigh*
I have to go to the Cricket store. They don’t open until noon. Did I say I want to go back to bed? I’ll go to the Cricket store tomorrow. My bed won’t be made by noon, and noon is the starting point for cleaning the rug again.
*face palm*
:whispers: what did i ever do...?
And to add insult to injury, I find I’ve made a mistake in the flamingos that has caused me to rip out 10 rows. *sigh* (I can’t make this stuff up, folks...it’s the Monday Curses.)
You got up on Monday.
My most common affront to the universe is getting out of bed. It seems to feel a constant need to retaliate for that.
