We had almost the same root cause.

You got up on Monday.

Indeed. At least the bed is almost made.

Yes, well, some days it goes like that, and others it’s just plain dismal.

Things aren’t bad here. James is poorly and went back to bed. Kathleen is dawdling over her subtraction worksheet. Pat’s Driving Adventure is about to collide with Naptime.

I guess it's a Calvin & Hobbes day.

Cheated Death Again: Nice Cemeteries!

Then I took a nap. Now I’m going to make a casserole. I feel like I’ve typed exactly this before.

Oh, wow! Vuja-de. The sudden, unexplained feeling that somehow none of this has ever happened before.

Still Monday, here. I can’t resolve this until tomorrow, around 0700. The SIM card is at fault. So I can try to make a phone call at 0700, or I can wait until noon and drive to Washington to buy a new SIM card.

I think I hate Mondays. Now, I’m going back to bed.

And in the middle of what was left of my night, it dawned on me that I can’t call anyone...

On to Plan Idunno.

In other news, the rug looks beautiful!! It needs another application but not by me. I’ll vacuum it, then roll it up and call it a job done. Now I can actually, really begin to pack.

I think your eyebrows are stuning, Morning Floof!

Good morning.

All the news that’s fit to print is almost printed. I vacuumed the rug, rolled it up and it’s currently standing in the hall, leaning against the bedroom doorjamb. I need to dust the floor, but that can wait for a bit, while I go sort pills.

For some reason, I feel almost like I’ve been “rode hard and put away wet.” I’m too old for this stuff, and that rug seems to get heavier each time I roll it and schlepp it from the floor to an upright.

Yes, moving rugs around is exhausting. I hope you don’t have to do it a bunch more times.

It was supposed to be rainy this morning, but it’s not, at least not yet. Good news for the cats!

Now I REALLY have to go sort pills!! Then it will be off to Walmart.

Sharon is coming at 0900, too, to drive me to “the north building” so I’ll know where to go on the 11th. This weekend is Conference, so no meetings, anywhere in the world.

BRB.

Thanks!

When all has been done and some things said, I’m opting to return the phone (I’ve fought with it enough in the midst of this Beginning To Move Experience) and just get a new one at Walmart. At least I know help is just down the road.

The Return Label has been printed, and it will go in the mail today or tomorrow. I should have thought of it sooner, but these days, I’m surprised I can even think in a straight line.

And, it’s Tuesday.

Happy Tuesday, all.

Last night we had a software deployment. At the start there was something wrong with the Microsoft Outlook 365 login system so nobody could send or receive email. Fortunately, the tech team had notified everyone.

By email.

I think that plan needs to be revisited.

Anyway, it came back up in reasonable time so we got the software deployed.

Tech is so much fun.

Liner thinking is overrated. I have too many black socks. Straight lines are for suckers. There's lint in my pocket again.
