Tom was sure Jake would be over 15. Uncharitable!

LOL!

Well, two “jobs” sorta done. I repacked the box to take to the thrift store, and in doing so, I sorted through my shoes and found some that needed to go while they’re still good. This was actually two jobs combined into one.

Next up is to take the box to the truck and bring in the water from Tuesday, and I’m not sure what will follow. I just know I’m already tired. But after a break, I’ll find something else to do.

Excellent! Does Pat wear a disposable mask or a washable one to work? In either case, he needs to change it every couple of hours. But you probably already know that...

Off for the night. I think I’m tired.

I think a disposable one. I was tired, too. I had a lie-down with Jake. He’s forgiven me about the vet trip.

It took PV a good month before he had forgiven me for having Rusty put down, so it’s good to know Jake is so forgiving!

My sleep wasn’t restful, because I was in too much pain, but today will be another day of cracking the whip. I wanted to be able to vacuum and clean the rug today, but that will have to wait for tomorrow. Today, I’ll just get it ready by removing the stuff that’s on it.

Tiny little squee, hiding from the Fridayz!

Well, I got Charlie’s letter done and mailed. He called yesterday, wanting to know about all the stuff I didn’t tell him in my last letter, concerning the letter I wrote to AR.

We talked about everything but that, because I told him if I started to talk about it, then I wouldn’t have anything to put in the letter. We still talked about the same amount of time. I think he was a little put out because I didn’t tell him, but ohwell!

So I got the storage tubs packed and realized they’re smaller than the last ones I got. I’ve cleared away some stuff and have a few more things to take out to the truck. In a little bit, I’ll pack up the stereo and get it off the little table, and then the table will go out to the truck to be taken to St Paul’s.

I have to drop off my prescription today and then go to St Paul’s then swing back and pick up the prescription. I’ll be needing it in the next few weeks because I’m going to be on my feet a lot. Standing and bending is always the worst for me.

Anyway, tomorrow will be the day the rug is cleaned.

Good morning. Happy Friday. We made it to another one.

Is there a kitteh in that pic? (shhhh) Does anyone see the kitteh? I thought there was a kitteh here somewhere. Oooooh, THERE it is. (hehehe)

Maybe the kitten got wet in the rain, like Jake and Shannon. They are very put out, having insisted on going outside even though it was obviously pouring.

I tried to order sweatpants for the boys from Hanes.com, but everything we needed was out of stock except one pair Vlad could fit. Last week, they didn’t have any underwear I could use in my size, either. I unsubscribed from their emails this morning, because they’re consistently lying about having things available that we could use.

When I dropped Pat off at Walmart yesterday (and bought a few things), I saw the staff putting out women’s sweatpants and shirt, so I assume they’ll be stocking men’s and boys’ shortly, as well. We’ll go over tomorrow and look.

Did you try to pet the kitteh? Bleeding much?

Happy Friday. The rain falls on the just and the unjust.

The sweats are already out on the floors here, and if I’d had some money that didn’t need to go into packing supplies, I may have been tempted to look and possibly to drool. What I saw in passing was very interesting.

It would appear that Hanes is about ready to go out of business. The quality of their products has been suffering for several years now, and I won’t even buy them, any more. Especially not socks or underwear.

Some more things made it out to the truck, but I’m afraid that’s it. There is no more room for anything, unless I use the passenger seat and that usually has my backpack in it!

This is the last Friday of the month, too, ArGee!

Yes, there is a kitteh in the pic but you have to look very carefully in order to find it!

Wow. It’s just after 0600 and I already feel tired. Go figger. Now I need to take some pills and build a box and put the stereo in it. What I really want to do is go back to bed.

Life will get interesting, soon. I need to take some time out for filing. Maybe I’ll do that while the rug is drying tomorrow.

And I may have to buy another file container. I have four, filled, but it would appear a fifth one is needed. Because of the distance involved in the move, things have to be done a little differently, this time.

I rarely wear sweats, but the brothers prefer to wear nothing else. It takes major oppression to get them to put on slacks for any occasion.

Someday I’ll die, and then they can all fall down into the underclass with nobody to “judge.”

Mrs ArGee orders from LL Bean. They usually have the stuff they say they have. She also says right now she’s on a treadmill with them because everything she orders comes with a coupon for $10 off the next order, and she keeps thinking of things she could use it on.

On Hanes.com, if you use the search tool to search for items in your size, it pulls up items that are *manufactured* in your size, but that doesn’t mean they’re available in your size. For the sweatpants James wants, all they had was XXXL.

For what its worth, the final draft of the USPS search for missing mail was finally sent today. It put me behind almost two hours in everything else I had planned, so I don’t know how that will affect the rest of the day.

The form would not accept any format for photos, no matter which one I used. So I had to go through and list everything, book-by-book and document-by-document. The task was made more difficult because they wouldn’t allow anything to be input except the choices they preferred us to give. So instead of “multicolored” the choice was limited to one of twelve colors or “other.”

How can something be of “other” color when Other is not a color? (Not expecting an answer to that...)

So here I am. I just found a few more things that have to be done before I can really get to the meat of packing.

Have you tried eBay? Or Amazon? Both places sell new items, and I’m sure you could find some Hanes in your size. Or the Jameses.

No, I haven’t, but I may have to. It shouldn’t be this hard to find basic sweatpants in neutral colors in normal-people (medium to large) sizes!
