Missed it today. Good to know. All I’ve seen is that social distancing extended through April, which was very depressing to hear.
Wrong drug. He didn’t get Hydroxychloroquine. He got the experimental Remdesivir which is very scarce.
Whoops...he got BOTH, first Remdesivir then later Hydroxychloroquine.

Getting the doctor’s call at home on Sunday must have produced high anxiety before hearing “he’s ok/off the ventilator”...
One of the fortunate few respiratory failure patients that has been able to survive extubated on room air. Sadly have to add at least for now. This relatively young patient now has severely damaged lungs, there is no guarantee he won’t have utterly debilitating pulmonary impairment or develop a secondary pneumonia in the near future. Nevertheless wish him well and hope for the best.
