Years ago in this situation the ringing of a phone was enough to make your heart stop. Now we have caller ID to add that extra bit of terror. You don't forget those moments.

It sucks. When my daughter was in the hospital for months (she’s okay now) ...every call I got from a doctor or hospital would send me into a mini-panic.
