12,000, which is strange, a very low number

A couple of years ago there were 80,000 flu deaths. What if that year it was covered as today? Hospital admissions, ICUs swamped, PPEs and ventilators in short supply?

My BIL died from complications associated with the flu 3 years ago. He had to wait 12 hours for an ICU slot to open up. None were available in 2 states. By the time he was admitted it was past the point of no return. I talked to my doctor who said it was a bad flu season.I was surprised because I saw zero news about it.

Sorry about your BIL. Flu can be deadly esp. for the elderly but even young people can die from it. Swine flu/H1N1 by passed the immune system in a strange way, many people did not have fever, and it often attacked other organs. I got it and was horribly sick for 2 weeks.

The CDC is, imho, full of shiite. They are not honest and they are joined at the hip to big pharm esp vaccines and the $$$$$ constant and increasing vaxes generate.
