I tried skydiving once but never again. Free falling, and pulled the ripcord, but nothing happened. Same with the spare. I’m resigning myself to learning very quickly how to fly when I see a speck coming up toward me from below.
It was a man! We got close enough that I could yell and ask if he knew anything about skydiving. He said no and asked me if I knew anything about gas barbecues.
Last time I ever saw him.
