Very sad. I remember him being well liked and humble.

No details...I’d be curious to see if he was the driver and what he was driving.

Yes, there’s been some nasty weather in the southeast. The winds were howling all night here in North Dallas too.

In the United States, 100 people die each day from traffic accidents. We don’t shut down the economy for that.

One should always drive according to conditions. Sometimes conditions are bed enough that one shouldn’t be driving at all.

Yes,a major wind gust can send a car off a road and into a tree.

If they could find a way to count this as a COVID-19 death they would.

New York State counted my great-uncle as a tobacco death statistic because he chewed snuff.

He was 94.

Don’t be a pinhead.

Why? Dr. Birx already admitted that anyone dying with a positive COVID-19 test is being listed as a COVID-19 death. Doesn't matter if they had Stage 4 Lung Cancer, COPD, and major heart problems, if they were positive for COVID-19, that's what gets listed under "cause of death", by itself or with the other underlying reasons.

Sorry to hear about Jackson dying, but we are living in absurd times.

IIRC, he transferred from Arkansas to Alabama State.

One should always drive according to conditions

While living in Michigan it amazed me the number of people who insisted on driving highways at 70-80 MPH speeds in blizzard conditions. Generally they ended up in the ditch. I could always get where I needed to go by slowing down to match the weather.

I swear, some drivers find themselves in a storm and think “This bad! This is dangerous! I BETTER GET HOME AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!”

Bad storms last night. So why was he out driving? It’s just like driving in the middle of a blizzard. Not a good idea.

As bad as the weather was here in Alabama last night - torrential rain, 60-70 mph winds, this is almost definitely a weather related accident.
