In Mexico, where political corruption is so entrenched that the drug cartels are running parts of the country - while the people suffer. But according to Waters, their problem is not their own politicians and ‘leaders’, but is Trump.
From a musical perspective, a lot of the Pink Floyd type of musical melodrama has become old.

The only question is did he start out hating Jews from childhood? Or did he get so attached to the Palestinian cause he developed a hatred that the devil is now exploiting for his own ends?

He is an angry clown, and he is less talented then the other members. His concert imagery is schizophrenic and bitter. Negativity taken to the highest levels.
I don’t know if I would say that Rodger is worse that the Dixie Chicks, because he is not mocking his own president during wartime.
Rodger has always been completely insane, his politics are utterly f***ed, but I love his/ PF music. Animals is one of my favorites albums of all time, Dogs being my favorite selection from the album.
Far as that backdrop goes, he can be a jackass if he wants, dude’s a performer. I give him a pass that I give most musicians whose music I enjoy.

I used to love music by Pink Floyd. I listened to their work all the time.
Back in 2004, I went to a Roger Waters concert. I was in a large group of 10-15 people, all good friends.
In retrospect, I should have seen what was coming, but...I didn’t.
It turned into a 3 hour political audiovisual tirade against Bush, neocons, conservatives and Israel, with some music mixed in. It looked like Code Pink put together the slide and video shows they had going on.
I didn’t want to ruin the evening for the people I went with, but I was steaming mad. I grit my teeth and sat there. At the end of the “concert”, they released a 40 foot high ballon of a pig with “F*ck Bush” on one side and “Vote Democrat” on the other.
I have been unable to listen to any Pink Floyd music since then. It STILL pisses me off.
I am a fan of bands that have members who are the pure filth of the planet. I have been to concerts where the screens have the most fvcked up propaganda behind them. The last two had a prick Brit bad mouth Trump and another showing a Greta video before the headline show of......another prick Brit.
The supreme irony is that Waters wrote about state-sponsored educational indoctrination, which is really scary, but the indoctrination that has occurred is from HIS twisted point of view.
