The positions of the red balls and blue balls tells me that some Dems and some Republicans are set to go into the pocket. We just have some clean-up work up-table, and then we need to get the Q ball into a suitable position.

It’s about the BREAK...what happens during/after the break? I’m no pool-ball wizard, but I do have some foggy memories of the 70s. The break is important because it determines what style of balls will be the shooters. If the shooter sinks a solid, then the solid balls are his to shoot. Same thing for stripes.
I would think it’s the only part of the game that depends on luck and not skill. But then, it’s been eons since I’ve played...and even then, my status may have been altered.
