They do well in Washington state and in southern BC because they are heavily forested like the areas they are from in Asia. If they try and travel East they won’t fare very well. If they travel East via the North it’s likely the queens won’t survive hibernation during the winters. If they try a little more South they won’t fare very well in desert areas. I simply don’t see them making it East and if they do it will take decades.
