From record lows to pretty darn warm/dry in a couple of days - it’s been a roller coaster. The one thing that has not been affected is the grass which looks like a hay field in some places - marathon mowing will be happening this afternoon.

Got my mowing done, yesterday. Takes me about 2 hours now with the Zero-Turn. Man, I love that thing - Vroom! Vroom!

It was one of those uber-productive days - Beau got the LAST piece of roofing on*, and then all the calking done. Today he borrowed the neighbor’s tractor and is tilling up the bird/deer food plots and the plot to the east of the house that’s eventually going to be wildflowers for the bees and butterflies.

*NINE YEARS IN - and we have a finished metal roof, LOL!
