I was cleaning the grill this morning, getting it ready. While cleaning, my mind wandered to The Hunt for Red October.
As various scenes from the movie played out in my mind, I thought about the scene where Jack Ryan is wondering aloud how do you get people to WANT to get off a nuclear submarine?
You stage a false reactor incident.
I then thought about Q using the movie title in various drops, and I thought about how I missed going to Church on Sundays. Then it struck me. How do you get Americans to want to give up their rights of worship and assembly? You make them fear doing those things. I’m not suggesting that Covid19 was deliberately let loose. I still think its release was accidental. But the doctrine of “never let a good crisis go to waste” is also in play.
