Several Chicago police officers are under investigation after a video surfaced showing them yanking two women out of a car and throwing them to the ground, and one of the women alleges one of the officers put his knee on her neck while restraining her.
The Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) has launched an investigation into the encounter Sunday at Brickyard Mall on the city's West Side in which police said in a statement that Mia Wright was charged with disorderly conduct.
During the encounter, Wright, 25, said 'they threw me to the ground, and he (the officer) proceeded to put his knee on my neck'.
The video shows officers on both sides of the car bashing the vehicle with their batons before pulling Wright and Tnika Tate from the vehicle and pinning them to the ground.
The police department has not commented about the use of force and the video does not clearly show any officer kneeling on Wright's neck.

Police Officers doing what they were hired to do is now the Crime
why be a cop in those radical states anymore
“police”
Just let them go, they will take your badge; not worth it. /s
I am stunned that every police officer hasn’t simply quit. If they don’t do their jobs they are hated and if they do their job, they are convicted of a crime.
JoMa
bOOKMARKING.
This is about the fourth time this week I’ve asked “Wait! Is this the Babylon Bee?”
Should I even bother to look.
I was right they’re “Amish”.
Yep. Me too.
The good news is that even people who don’t pay much attention would be hard pressed to miss it. Law abiding citizens generally don’t want lawbreakers to be given carte blanche to sow mayhem and destruction.
Was the car loaded with stolen goods? Was there a garbage bag filled with packets of heroin? Was there a young girl in the trunk destined for a sex slave trade? What were these police officers trying to prove? Looks like a training exercise using these kids as test dummies. Throw the book at these moron officers!
Record numbers of police have been shot in the last few years. More and more people are shooting at and running from police. And now this George Floyd incident. It will be interesting to see how badly crime spikes after things supposedly return to normal.
And now theres Magic Ticket:
He put his knee on my neck !
Why does it take a dozen cops to detain two women for questioning in a stopped car?
Don’t bother to try to read Daily Mail unless you drop ad blocker.
There werent only 2 people in the car......but, whatever.
I wonder how many of these cops it takes to change a light bulb?
Police are gonna stop policing. They’ll go to work, put in the hours, work towards that bretirement...but going after bad guys? Nah.
