It really was/is just the flu. The death count is about 100k. Of course that includes people who had CV as one cause of death along with several other comorbidities. It also includes the people from states who hate Trump so much they banned effective treatments that he recommended. And it includes the deaths due to overventing in order to get the federal dollars.
But things are under control so let’s revoke the lockdown laws. I am still convinced that we will be saved by football - youth and college and pro and high school. The pressure for football is so intense in Texas that everything will have to be revoked - they can’t just say football is an exception, like the Floyd protests, and we need to have it even though it spreads CV. Or can they?

More like 30k. The rest are either people who died of something else (real flu, gunshot, car wreck, vending machine falling on them after they rocked it) who had Chinese Communist Party (CCP) cooties in them, or outright lies.

Although the destructive lockdowns imposed by Democrat/Left governors are beginning to be eased, understand that the conditions that come along with reopening businesses are not just draconian, they're designed to slow the recovery to a crawl and are unsustainable for many small businesses. And along with the severe state-wide anti-social restrictions including anti-social face-hiding and anti-social "distancing" that have done so much damage to our society, it is going to be very tough to operate businesses in California. Take restaurants, bars and wineries for example. With the blessings of California's far-Left Governor Gavin Newsom (aka, Nancy Pelosi's nephew), in many counties these small businesses are "allowed" by the State to be reopened but only if they meet the following business-harming restrictions:
-- All staff must wear masks (i.e., your food and drinks will be served by someone who looks like they belong in a sick ward)
-- Entertainment and games are prohibited "until these types of activities are allowed to resume" (no air hockey; no pool; no darts; no live music, etc.
-- "All events or gatherings that would bring together persons from different households, such as private parties, must be cancelled or postponed until further notice"
Real nice, huh? The Democrat/Left can keep this up indefinitely while they shout that they're "ending the lockdowns" and "helping the economy to recover".
If there is any doubt in anyone's mind that this entire virus/riots fiasco which has been so carefully planned is not political; that it, along with the recent violence and continuing anti-social restrictions, is designed solely as an attempt to stop Trump's re-election; then that person is simply denying reality.
