Protests move to midtown Tulsa neighborhood, Brookside

Police have had to use tear gas in an attempt to get protesters out of the street in Midtown.

Protesters marched into the late hours of the night and to the midtown Tulsa neighborhood, Brookside.

Police have lined up with shields and batons across from the Quiktrip at 36th and Peoria as they stood across from a large group of people in the road -- eventually breaking up that crowd with tear gas.

Around 10 p.m., police say they shot pepper balls into the crowd in an attempt to get to get them to leave.

Police were shouting commands and warnings to the crowd before firing, mostly breaking up the peaceful display they say was unlawful because several people were in the street.

Shortly before 11 p.m., protesters were seen throwing water bottles at police. Police then responded with more pepper balls and tear gas.

Tonight, the Mayor of Tulsa invoked a last minute curfew to displace MAGAs who've arrived early to wait in line to attend Trump's rally. Note in the video linked below, one police officer wearing standard issue blue uniform (no riot gear, rubber bullets or tear gas) fearlessly addresses MAGAs re who have been peacefully present for days.

Trump coulda picked a big outdoor venue or I’m sure a pro MAGA person has some land woulda been suitable for this and for future events while Dems and anti Trump people are acting like this.

That said, I do think it’s good (even though constant obsticles in Trump’s way in his valiant effort to help the USofA) many many people being exposed even more for their anti-American agenda and selfish greedy motives/hearts (protestors too, not just the leaders or money people)

I suspect no Democrat mayor will permit a Trump rally in his city. With the CCP flu as a weapon a mayor is pretty much an absolute ruler in his small domain.

At this point i’m sure the Secret Service is concerned about open air gatherings, for fear of a Vegas style massacre. Much easier to control access and avoid long distance firing with the event indoors. I suspect they have seen multiple credible threats against the President, although he likely has as much to fear from the Deep State as he does from the anarchists on the streets. They have probably already recruited their own Lee Harvey Oswald to make the attempt, just in case their fake polls are wrong again about the outcome in November.

Oh but the Mayor of Seattle cites medical proof that protesters are not spreading Covid-19 in their CHOP zone, where they are living communally and protesting without masks. Unless, COVID-19 infection rates only depend on the purpose for which they are distorted as needed.
