Don’t know about Berman. I worked on the Organized Crime Task Force led by Mary Jo White, in the 1990’s against the Mafia. The whole effort was undermined and betrayed by Bill Clinton and AG Janet Reno. Undercover agents risked their lives to get evidence against Gotti, Persico, Fusco, Gigante, the whole Gambino Family and other mob families in New Jersey, Chicago, St. Louis, Miami etc., only to see their work flushed down the toilet.

Berman might have been a Deep State Obama man. I have no love for Michael Cohen and am glad he is in jail and can no longer practice law (Avenatti is next - YEAH). I suspect he wanted to get the Trump Family in a political vendetta or an ideological campaign from the Left.
