Robert Byrd has managed to get his name on many things here in West Virginia. He brought a lot of “pork” to the state. Bethany College isn’t the only college to have a building named after him. Wheeling Jesuit College—a “Catholic” college also had a building named after Byrd. Yep, you got it. Why wasn’t that building named after a saint? WJU has since had so many financial problems and has downsized, and it is no longer a “Catholic” college. I have no sympathy for them. They lost their way a long time ago. They were Catholic in name only.
That is not enough. A piddley and meaningless action. OUTLAW THE DEMOCRAT PARTY of slavery, the KKK, etc. That would have meaning.
