Eh. I’m 65 and have a history of severe asthma. I got covid. It was miserable, certainly, and I would rather not do that again, but apart from coughing my lungs out for a month and not being able to breathe well, I survived. Didn’t go to the hospital at all except to have a chest x-ray. Continued to take care of my little farm by myself. It’s not the end of the world in most cases.

That said, I’m lucky because my doctor gave me some very helpful drugs. I had a lot of Vitamin D on board because I work outside a lot and take supplements. And I suspect that some people get a far more vicious strain than others.
