Just hearing that the RNC is being moved out of JAX and locations in TX and LA being considered.
Excellent idea, except DoI would never agree to it.
Get out of the cities.

Thank you Mayor Lenny Curry. He’s an idiot RINO who has been doing his best to shut this down. I believe he was actually head of the RNC or some component thereof years ago.
Now he’s announced that he’s been “exposed” to COVID (he apparently talked to somebody who later was diagnosed with it) so he’s “self-quarantining” for 2 weeks. Personally, I think he should do self-quarantine for the rest of his life. Resign and hide out in your bunker, Lenny.

It’s actually not vulnerable. It’s an easy place to isolate and you can stop bridge traffic (as they have done before for other events) very easily. But you’d have to have the will to do it.
The big problem is that RINO Lenny Curry probably never wanted to do it in the first place, but local business people really wanted it in order to rebuild our hotel, restaurant and convention business (killed by Curry’s aggressive orders).
And now that he has given the “mandatory mask order,” bowing to his Karen masters, probably nobody wants to come to Jax anyway. Very sad, restaurants that were coming back are now just dreary isolated spaces with very depressed staff. They were just looking forward to getting back to things, and then everything was muzzled again. De Santis closing the bars was a bad move, although in Jacksonville, most bars sell enough food so they qualify as restaurants...or are rapidly finding ways to do so. But it’s the “masking” that has really killed it.

Not frustrated at all. It’s just unusual on these threads for someone to say, “I heard” so and so. Typically, the thread is backed up by something. Thanks for the link in 39.
