Thanks for keeping track of the numbers, Dis. Agree with all you said about China. Interesting though, I read if that the Three Gorges Dam were to fail, the flooding would reach all the way to Wuhan, and it would set China back by at least 50 years.
The flood gates are wide open and China has “blasted a dam Sunday to release surging waters behind it amid widespread flooding across the country that has claimed scores of lives”. Almost 2 million people have already been evacuated/displaced.
Regarding weapons-China apparently desires the USA as a place for their people to live and grow food. Possibly they would try to avoid nuclear contamination in favor of other means-such as biological?
While I’m not particularly concerned about WuhuFlu resurgence as we approach the winter, I do wonder if maybe the real bio-attack will be loosed this fall-with insufficient time to find a treatment prior to the election.

I do not think the New Cold War, aka "arms race" will be nuclear.
That actually makes it MUCH MORE LIKELY there will be a "Hot War," involving very high-tech weapons, AI, biological, cyber, EMP etc.
If one side gains sufficient superiority they can lay waste to the other side in many ways, very quickly, and not have to worry about radioactive fallout.
During the buildup, China will attempt to use weapons such as Chinavirus---AND DENY RESPONSIBILITY---for as long as possible.
Extreme DECEPTION as to motivations and intent will be another major difference from the Cold War with the USSR.
