If I thought it was idolatry towards President Trump, I'd agree: but I see it as a slam towards spineless RINOs who stabbed him in the back (Paul Ryno) and do nothing to help him now.

Because the truth is Trump really is carrying the entire GOP right now.

Yes, it is true that POTUS is dragging and carrying the GOP creeps and non creeps along right now.

However, that does not take away the fact that this uses a biblical passage as a foundation that is likely to be viewed by others as degrading, tacky and tasteless and can be attacked as being uncomfortably close the line on idolatry. And their opinion counts too. I am sure you didn't mean it the way it appears.
