My guess would be that CBS has cut some sort of deal with the Trump administration whereby they will be the first mainstream media organization to start to report truthfully on what is going on in exchange for some leniency against top people there who will be allowed to simply retire in exchange for their testimony against the rest of the Mockingbird Media

Wonderful if true but likely wishful thinking.
THe fact that CBS hired Catherine Herridge who has a long track record of serious investigative reporting is evidence of something different.
