That pic prompts me to relate The Best Thing I Saw Today...
I was paddling my kayak on a nearby river trail and I saw a something big flying low under some low branches, and when it cleared them and headed skyward I got a glimpse of a white tail. A minute or so later it crossed the river right in front of me - white head and tail feathers - a Bald Eagle!
I’m taking it as an omen of something good to come!

Wow, Bob! That’s really cool. Such beautiful, majestic birds. Thank goodness the turkey isn’t our national bird, ‘eh???
Our oldest, who moved to Colorado to work for his brother saw one this spring, while working. He said it was so amazing.
Good omen for sure.
