were from the CDC and an outfit in Montreal. Fauci did not necessarily know about the publication in 2005. The link https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/
is to PubMed out of the Natl Library of Medicine. It physically sits on the NIH campus, but that’s about it. Publications pertaining to infectious disease could possibly be forwarded as a courtesy to the head of the NIAID, but that’s about it, my guess. At some point, some researcher or colleague or lawyer probably provided Fauci with the publication title or the publication per se (when?), but that is not a given.
