He should focus on the fact that it is currently killing less than the flu During flu season. The message should be - “we beat this!”

He mentioned those death stats, but this isn't beaten, so that would be a terrible mistake for him to make. You're insistence that it is influenza isn't accurate or helpful.

Trump will adopt the Flubro position, but it will be closer to Election Day.

I hope you’re right, but his press conference yesterday was very discouraging and made it sound like we were never going to be able to live a normal life again and that somehow masks were a good thing. I think he really undercut the good governors who are trying to open up again, particularly Kemp who just issued an order prohibiting cities in Georgia from issuing their own mandatory mask orders. Georgia doesn’t have a statewide order, and people in Georgia don’t like wearing masks, but some of the liberal areas wanted to get around this.

Although, oddly enough, Trump had been at some kind of news conference with Gov. DeSantis, who had charts showing how the numbers have been falsified in Florida by incompetently inaccurate to blatantly false reporting, and the state of Florida is not having bodies pile up in the street or people hacking their lungs out in the ICU As the media would have everybody believe.

I wish Trump would get a positive message and stick with it because I think yesterday’s performance was unhelpful, to say the least, and probably cost him support.

We lost the mask war and there never was a balanced debate: the negative aspects of wearing masks, the ineffectiveness of masks, deaths by medical malpractice (NY), successful and inexpensive treatment options....

Because the enemy has control of the narrative, I see mandatory vaccines coming around the corner. And the vaccines will also be produced in ignorance.

I rarely go into a major retailer but just say “COPD” and keep walking. Haven’t run across any “Karens” yet. Some people have all the fun.

The reason we lost the mask war was that masks were framed as not personal protective equipment (PPE), but as protection for others in case the mask wearer was ill. And since there was anecdotal evidence that asymptomatic (or pre-symptomatic) were spreading CV19, everyone was an assumed carrier.

So the maskless person was framed as an uncaring troglodyte, whereas the maskers were seen as compassionate angels.

And yet, with the mask orders, places are still seeing increases. This to me shows the ineffectiveness of masks, but it seems all of those who are in positions of power are acting out of fear.

I think a lot of the major businesses are having masks requirements are purely CYA to avoid potential lawsuits from employees or customers.

Fire Fauci and use his bully pulpit to denounce how governments are using the fauxdemic to take away our freedoms.
