There is a strong correlation between sunspot flares and earthquakes. Watch for more and bigger earthquakes.

By the way, this article is total crap. You can go to Spaceweather.com and see for yourself. The sunspot mentioned has a count of 14, totally unremarkable. The page even says the sunspot has a simple magnetic field and is unlikely to produce strong flares.

Not once in any of these mass coronal events that were going to cause problems have I ever seen anything that really caused much of a problem or one that lasted very long or one that disrupted life as we know it.
The globull warmers should be happy that there is a sunspot since there have not been many for quite some time.
I am looking forward to the coming Ice Age.
