I guess if I was a democrap strategist, the last thing I’d do is recognize any sort of cognitive issue, because that would just make Trump and everyone on the right look like they were right all along.

Instead I think I’d stick him in a wheelchair with a blanket and a nurse (besides his wife) to create the image of an FDR-like victim of some terrible disease who gave his all for his country and have Joe graciously step aside “for health reasons”. Everyone would have warm fuzzies over him having at least gotten the nomination at last and they’d say the best way to express your sympathy for Joe is to vote for his designated hitter. And all the other democraps of course so they can hold the House, win the Senate, and throw the Orange Man out for good.

It’s a thin reed for them to grab onto but I can’t think of anything better. I don’t think anything like this will happen, he’s their horse and they’re gonna ride him til he wins or drops in his tracks. In their bubble they still think he’s got what it takes to beat Trump and they rationalize and minimize all his limitations.

Well the last thing democrap strategists do is anything sane. They try to bend the narrative into the box they want to present regardless of the obvious.

There is no captain obvious in dem world, but there is in the real world. God bless common sense. We got this.
