Small example: for years I have gone to get my lab work done one week prior to my regular doctor's appointment. I went this morning to discover that I was unable to accomplish that. The lab now claims 'By Appointment Only' and their web site for reservations indicates that no appointments are available for weeks. I got up at 5 am this morning because the web site said that seniors could show up at 6:30 am; I showed up at 6:30 and was denied service - 'BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!" they shouted. So now I have to plan a different way to get my labs done in time. -- A small example.
My son and I were discussing this later this morning. So many things are changing and we keep saying 'when things return to normal'... but will things ever return to normal? sigh

Looks like September 1st will be the magic day of miraculous decline of COVID-19 hospitalizations. Starting September 1st health care providers will have to show COVID-19 viral test positive results for hospitalized patients in order to get paid the 20% "add-on". If they can't produce said results within 14 days (including a test performed by an entity other than the hospital) and have already been paid, money will be recovered.
