Video clip, 45 seconds in duration, at link. The date of original recording is unknown. A Tweeter on the thread commented that Fauci's remarks in the video were made, "During sars cov 1."

"To just add one thing that seems to get lost in that question is that, as Bob said and I agree, we would really like to see the data because if there really is asymptomatic transmission it impacts certain policies that you do regarding screening etc.
But the one thing historically people need to realize, that even if there is some asymptomatic transmission, in all the history of respiratory viruses of any type, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks.
The driver of outbreaks is always a symptomatic person. Even if there's a rare asymptomatic person that might transmit, an epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers" ~ Dr. Fauci
NOTE: On that Twitter thread, above the Fauci video clip, a doctor asserts that asymptomatic spread is common to bacteria, not viruses
Secy Azar wouldn’t have been at a SARS outbreak meeting, at DHHS. This was from Feb, I am pretty sure, back when Azar was holding the first China Flu briefings.

Overarching conclusion: Fauci said it on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
Great work! Thank you!
Look at what logi_cal pieced together. Terrific FReeper work!
Excellent work, logi_cal869!
WHenever he’s exposed for something, there’s always someone who posts refuting without proof and it’s really great to have evidence. I’m not on Twitter, but if you are, logi_cal869, would you mind posting it to that Twitter thread linked.
If you’re not on Twitter, maybe someone else can post it?
Excellent!

Thank you!
