It was a transformer that blew, that happens. And becauase PG&E didn’t keep vegetation away from power lines and poles, stuff caugh fire. Enviros are also at play as they fight everything rational and good. And CA state also guilty for not taking care of it or forcing PG&E. I read eye witness accounts of this incident.
IMHO at least some of the OR fires right may arson as there was no lightning. Can’t be that many “accidental” fire starts.
