I had an open invite to a very rural farm with a year’s supply of food and water and a ton of very dangerous weaponry only 6 hours drive away.

I miss him. I miss his BRUTAL mid western toughness.
No complaining through 3 years of fighting sepsis.
I had some kind of bug the past 3 dies and whined like a little girl.

Nukes would be the only thing that gets us.
There’s stuff buried very deep in these mountains that are on “target maps”.
On the upside, I don’t have to worry about a slow radiation death.
I won’t even get to see the pretty flash.
We’ve lost a lot of the good ones, of late.
The price you pay for hanging around somewhere for a long time is watching people go on ahead of you.
