Today is the 'big day'. Has anyone seen anything about the White House Siege that the Occupy people are suppose to start today Looked through several news sources, found nothing.
There was a Portland rioter (I believe arsonist) who traveled across the Columbia River into Washington. He was arrested there, federal charges. The Portland DA was saddened.
Its suppose to rain here in DC this afternoon and you know how much they hate bathing!

The “big date” escaped me, and when searched found nothing. Perhaps if we were to search the whereabouts of Madonna, it might be a start. She did, after all, want to blow up the White House. Intimidate, threaten and bully; all tried and true methods of d’rats.
The Daily Mail (UK) seems to be the only ones covering it. I’d check their site later today for any updates. This link is from September 3rd, announcing their intentions:
An anti-capitalist organization who started the Occupy movement in 2011 have vowed to ‘draw wind’ from BLM protests tearing through the country and ‘lay siege to the White House’ for 50 days.
Adbusters, a non-profit environmentalist organization based in Canada - who are known for spurring the Occupy Wall Street movement in 2011 - have announced plans to ‘lay siege’ to the White House from September 17 until November 3.
The group describe themselves as ‘a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs’ whose goals involve advancing a ‘new social activist movement’.
In a post on their website titled ‘#WhiteHouseSiege – Tactical Briefing #1’, the activists say: ‘It’s time again for dramatic, decisive action.
‘Which is why, on September 17th, in the original and enduring spirit of Occupy, we and tens of thousands of our fellow citizens will stream into Lafayette Square, in Washington. D.C.’

I did not believe you, but there is a discussion of playing jazz... The other thing is AdBusters is a foreign organization, I believe. Seems it would be easier legally & politically for the Feds to go after an action started by a foreign entity.

I saw the Daily Best article from 9/9. I especially liked this part from the article:
It’s not clear whether the “siege” concept will catch on with Trump opponents. But the tactical briefings were quickly circulated on the right-wing internet, with The Gateway Pundit seizing on the first press release about the siege on Aug. 11.
Now the coverage from the right has resulted in a wave of death threats towards Adbusters; it left Adbusters editor Kalle Lasn considering whether the “siege” language and related promotional materials—including a photo illustration of the White House engulfed in smoke—were too intense.
“We’ve sort of changed our mind a little bit, and now we are going for a more benign, sort of a ‘play jazz’ type of strategy,” Lasn said. “My dream actually is to have thousands of jazz musicians all over America turning up and playing jazz all over the country for the next 50 days.”
And supposedly this is over concerns that Trump will refuse to leave the White House if Biden wins in November? But yet the 50 days end right after the election. Not buying it.
Are they in D.C.?
They can get there quick enough . . .
I went searching for anything new about it a couple days ago. All was quiet.
There are 1200 members in the Maryland/DC chapter, alone.
