I have mentions on Daily Beast, the UK Daily Mail, and Facebook regarding how the Siege is being “toned down” from its “inflammatory rhetoric” to emphasizing a “peaceful protest”.
Daily Beast states that the proposed epicenter of the siege, Lafayette Park, has been claimed by BLM and they’re not moving.
The freshest of these are at least four says old now. It may not get any traction in the media, at least not yet
They want ther “peasceful troops” in place. It will grow and grow. Then all of DC explodes on election night. That’s my take on it. However, I am sure the Feds won’t let that happen.
Adbusters says it’s now a peaceful 50 day jazz festival per twitter.
RuhRoh! Rumble in the jungle? It’s alright by me.
I hope that events will soon teach BLM a lesson regarding the active and passive voices.
I saw the Daily Best article from 9/9. I especially liked this part from the article:
Its not clear whether the siege concept will catch on with Trump opponents. But the tactical briefings were quickly circulated on the right-wing internet, with The Gateway Pundit seizing on the first press release about the siege on Aug. 11.
Now the coverage from the right has resulted in a wave of death threats towards Adbusters; it left Adbusters editor Kalle Lasn considering whether the siege language and related promotional materialsincluding a photo illustration of the White House engulfed in smokewere too intense.
Weve sort of changed our mind a little bit, and now we are going for a more benign, sort of a play jazz type of strategy, Lasn said. My dream actually is to have thousands of jazz musicians all over America turning up and playing jazz all over the country for the next 50 days.
And supposedly this is over concerns that Trump will refuse to leave the White House if Biden wins in November? But yet the 50 days end right after the election. Not buying it.
