They will F this up big time trying to curry favor with the media and their “distinguished colleagues” across the isle.

Collins, Murkowski, Mittens, and I’m sure at least 2 other “Repub’ senators will side with the rats on this.

And when they do, and President Trump’s nominee goes down in flames ... Repub voters will be like “why even bother”, which will hand the Senate to the rats along with the House and either Trump will be a Lame Duck pres for the next 4 years or BiteMe will be occupying the White House.

And it will all be because of a handful of worthless backstabbing scumbags.

Something to keep in mind here is that these USSC nominees have not been “Trump’s picks” at all. They’d been vetted by the GOP leadership previously, and probably all would have been among the top candidates to fill a Supreme Court vacancy if ANY of the 2016 Republican contenders in the presidential election would have been elected.

Transforming the Federal Judiciary has been a GOP priority for years.

As I said back in 2018 when many Freepers were clutching their pearls during the Kavanaugh fiasco, there’s no way in hell Mitch McConnell would block Merrick Garland’s nomination for months in 2016, only to let a small group of RINO jackasses stand in his way when another vacancy came up during a Republican administration.
