The weird thing about that, is that when the Armistice was declared, the German army was still in France. The allies decided to punish Germany severely when the peace treaty was being hammered out, which the United States disagreed with. But the Jews didn’t have anything to do with that. The U.K. and France just wanted to press their advantage, which wasn’t a good idea in the long run.

Which led to the "Stabbed In the Back" charge, that Hitler was able to exploit.
