Today we are not talking about Coronavirus. Today we are discussing two other diseases and how these can kill over 1 million Americans. The first is the viral itchytoeitis which causes mild intermittent itchiness of the victim’s big toe. The second is fakediseaseitis which causes no symptoms and is not contagious.
Itchytoeitis is very contagious and it spreads throughout the population rapidly. There is some T-cell immunity but still this killer will infect 20% of the population within 1 year. Because it is so serious with all of these itchy toes, the government has mandated universal testing so that we can rapidly treat its victims. These tests are 100% accurate. With 20% of the 500 million US population getting infected we, therefore, have 100 million victims. 1% of the population dies each year so we therefore have 1 million people who died with itchytoeitis. Therefore, itchytoeitis has killed 1 million Americans.
Similarly deadly, we have fakediseaseitis. The government has also mandated universal testing for this but since it is fake the only way it shows up is with a false positive test. The test is very good and so we only have a 1% false positive rate. That computes to 5 million American victims. 1% of these people will die regardless so we have 50,000 deaths attributable to fakediseaseitis.
In summary, itchytoeitis claimed the lives of 1 million Americans and fakediseaseitis claimed the lives of 50,000 additional Americans. 1.05 million Americans dead at the hands of these two killers. Stop being selfish, wear a mask, lockdown businesses and quarantine yourself - we have the lives of over 1 million Americans to think of.
Now I see what you are saying. There has been an increase in deaths because people have avoided medical care due to Coronavirus fears. Sometimes it is the person’s fault but in other cases government policy has led to these medical services not being available.
Yeah, and if they're smart they'll self quarantine in thier own self interests while the rest of us go about our normal (not new-normal) daily lives. This isn't a geriatricratic dictatorship.

I was reading this week that they estimate 100,000 deaths due to to government forcing medical services to be shut down, e.g., mammograms, CTs/MRIs, etc., that diagnose life-threatening issues.

2. I, like almost everyone here, agrees that sending covid infected elderly into nursing homes was a disgrace. I’m absolutely good with filing criminal charges against those who knowingly did so. I don’t think anything will come of it, since our government is extremely corrupt.

How many died of alcoholism, drug overdose, and suicide?
How many old folks died from isolation and loneliness?
How many have become alcoholics, drug addicts, or clinically depressed due to losing everything they had?
Also, the economic price for this is yet to be paid.
How many people are behind on rent or mortgage payments?

I hope you saw that Gov. DeWine was booed at the Trump rally in Ohio. DeWIne is a GOPer, but has been a big shut-down, mandatory masking guy and is not loosening up. He’s very unpopular and I’m surprised that Trump didn’t know this.
In any case, it was good to see that Ohioans were publicly expressing their resentment against this (GOP) dictator-governor.

Oh, I did for sure! That was excellent. It seemed that Trump was surprised at their visceral and very vocal reaction. I always assumed he has his finger on the pulse of what We The People are thinking and doing, but he looked truly surprised at their reaction to DeWine.
I loved their reaction to the mask demonstration by the guy earlier in the rally — maybe the Lt. Gov.? Maybe PDJT, Kayleigh, Jiminy Cricket Surgeon General, will back off on urging people to be masked. Maybe they don’t know WE ARE NOT FREE if forced to mask.
That's the type of thing that hurts my heart. So sad. Those poor souls didn't have a chance.
Maybe your heart will feel better if some enterprising Federal prosecutors start filing charges. There were what, 3 or 4 others who did the same thing? PA, CA, couple more?
Charge them all with manslaughter. Every death in every nursing home that was forced to follow that policy. Their lives should matter. Their unnecessary deaths should too.

I have been hiking in Glacier National Park all week. You would not believe the number of people, both young and old, that are hiking and wearing masks. Probably close to 20%. Needless to say, the wind has been blowing at least 20 mph most of the time. Most people whom you pass on the trail will say something like “howdy” or “it’s a great day.” Not mask peoples. They either stare at the ground or off to the side and wait for you to pass. I think they are mental defectives.
