Can't go by the original reporting by TruePundit and Breitbart radio interview with E Prince. They can't be right and were proven wrong when the warrants and other legal docs were unsealed. When the OIG Report came out in 06/2018 - that document did not have one reference to NYPD.

Nowhere does the NYPD say they had the laptop. The only ones to report those stories always referred to TruePundit or the Brietbat interview.

Comey didn't make his first Hillary announcement until 10/28/16, a month after Weiner turned in his electroic devices.

We knew early that the FBI seized Weiner's electonic devices...we didn't know it from was Granite.
I have copies of all the warrents.

The FBI warrant to grab the devices was known. It wasn't unsealed til later and that's when we found out about Granite, which makes the TruePundit and Prince stuff even more bogus.
I ran an FOIL request to NYPD asking for the warrant for the Weiner's laptop plus any correspondece about the laptop from whatever start date to end date.I was denied any info based on an "on going ivestigation".
I never appealed it.

Not suggesting the first stories were necessarily true. Just recalling the sequential order of things as they came out. Nor was I suggesting that the NYPD gave the laptop back to Weiner. I do recall some speculation that Comey had it and when he was fired that all his files and records were confiscated-but I could have a faulty memory.

I did think there was some sort of pressure on Comey from someone or maybe just from the rumors that made Comey come out and announce the additional E-mails.

Then a few days later, he cleared HRC—which is standard operating procedure for a story that is about to break-get you lackey to announce it and clear it up fast-nothing to see here move on.

Do we know why Granite had the laptop? Did NY cops help with FBI investigation and see anything on the laptop? Or were the cops as in the dark as the public?
