Odd how the old-timers, who recall the tireless work of FReepers in defense of conservative values so prevalent in the past [cough-buckhead-cough], now work so hard to damage that same tireless work in service to conservatives values.
They have become the pharisees of FR.
The survival of their time-worn and knee-jerk conclusions is primary because, to paraphrase Joe Biden, they are FreeRepublic (not anyone else).
They are too afraid to return to the conservative rock from which they were hewn.
It isn’t real change unless they say it’s change.
Still, they have hope, too.
I figure there are several reasons for this. I have considered this a lot.
That is why the Q threads are the best place on FR.
