PALM BEACH, Florida -- Radio legend Rush Limbaugh updated Americans on the status of his stage 4 lung cancer on Monday, indicating his latest scans for the deadly disease are not encouraging.
"The scans did show some progressions of cancer," Limbaugh said on his national broadcast. "Prior to that the scans had shown that we had rendered the cancers dormant ... we had stopped the growth."
Although the latest news is not showing improvement in his health, Limbaugh put the situation in perspective when looking back on his first treatment attempts when he was initially diagnosed this past winter...

Sorry to say that no reputable doctor would give him a transplant in this country. If that was a viable option they would have done it at diagnosis. A friend of ours needed one (different disease) and that surgery is extremely traumatic and has a long recovery; it eventually fails/is rejected in 5-10 years. Definitely not as successful or lasting as kidney/liver.
I’m sure he is a Peal of great price.

Was this recent? I seem to remember him talking about believing in God in more general terms but not about believing in Jesus Christ.
IMHO, Savage is a backslid Jew. As that, he probably has a mental block against the only Being in the universe who can give him forgiveness and security when he passes into the next life; Yeshua Ha Masshiach ( sic). I take a different view of Savage’s statement. I read it to say that Rush’s sharing shook him to the core! Especially the part about a relationship with Jesus. Jesus loves Savage, too, and would redeem him just like He has Rush, and me, and millions of others. All Savage has to do is ask Him. Will he?
My husband of almost 50 years was diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer October 2019. He had chemo and 35 radiation treatments. Last February he started on an immunotherapy drug. His cancer has been stable for a year with no progression. So scary. You live from scan to scan. The head of our support group was diagnosed a 4 13 years ago. Clinical trials have kept her alive. You work your whole life, retire to Florida and wham. My prayers are with Rush. So very sad.
I wish Rush hadn’t smoked cigars. He should see Gary Null.
What a hateful comment from Savage.
Savage is a really strange charecter. Haven’t heard him for a number of years but always had goofy nicknames for other talk show hosts. Hannity was the “wall banger” because he has once a construction worker. Bill O’Reilly is the leprechaun. C heap shots from a person of questionable character.
It was part of what he talked about today.

In today’s very first segment. My wife and were elated that Rush shared that, “I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ”. I suspect Rush tended to hold back and resist for a while. But his little brother David is a strong, outspoken Christian, who has written several excellent books on Christ and living as a Believer, and which I possess. David surely got El Rushbo to realize his tenuous position, and call on the Savior for personal Salvation. That means we CAN plan on seeing Rush again some day, in a better place.

Wow, “repugnant” doesn’t begin to describe it. I’ve always disliked Savage, but this is the worst of him I’ve ever seen.

This after Rush specifically said, right up front, that he hasn’t been talking about it because he determined at the outset that “I wasn’t gonna bleed all over my audience”. What a classless jerk is Michael Savage.
Pretty low rent if you ask me.
