Just voted in MD

Posted on 10/26/2020 5:02:07 PM PDT by Factuality

Just got done voting in PG county MD. The most liberal county in MD. Some observations. It took me about an hour to vote. Line wasn't as long as in 2008 and 2012. The election worker initially gave me a paper ballot. I had to request to vote electronically. So they sent me to another line. Was that necessary? Also. There were a lot of electioneering going on past the sign that prohibited that.

Voted in Upstate NY today. Just one more “popular” vote for the President.

I voted on the Eastern shore of Maryland. I did ask for paper...should I have done it electronically?

Me for some reason, do not trust paper ballots. More so because I am a registered Republican voting in an overwhelmingly liberal county

I voted earlier today myself and Reno. Very efficient, no line to speak of.

I also grew up in PG County. Moved away from the area in 1981.

I went on the first day of early voting in Chi, right when the polls opened. Waited a little over an hour. Chickens with their heads cut off.

They won’t count the paper ballots if it won’t make a difference, and in maryland it won’t.

I’m not so sure about Maryland, this time. I was sort of surprised at how many in my very liberal and ‘diverse’ district voted for Trump in 2016.

And there’s Western Maryland, and the Shore.

I graduated from Crossland in Camp Springs. Lived very close to Andrews AFB but we were not military. Now a bit south in NC.

Lived in PG for 25 years, Greenbelt a bit a lot in Accokeek. Incredible the changes we witnessed, none for the better! Retired in 2003, fled to Fl. as fast as possible!
