Real question - If we are having such good early voting and mail in ballot results, how does that not cannibalize our Election Day numbers? Not looking to get flamed. I would like a reasoned explanation.

It’s because 75% of Dems fear the virus and basically won’t leave their homes to vote in person.

Whereas 75% of GOP don’t fear the virus, and want to vote in person because they fear their mailed in votes will end up in a ditch and they fear that more than the virus.

The GOP is waiting. The red wave comes later. I’m voting tomorrow, the first day of early in person voting available to me. The next few days up to and including Election Day are all GOP days.

Baris & Barnes went over this. The Democrats burned up a lot of their 4 for 4 (ie voted in the last 4 presidential elections) voters doing mail in ballots. The Republicans have a lot of theirs left for voting day. What the Republicans have been getting to the polls are a lot of 1 for 4 and 2 for 4 voters (ie less reliable voters) so far.

Translation: the Republicans have plenty of ammonia left for Election Day. The Democrats don’t.
