Federal-only voting has been a controversial issue as Republicans contend that non-citizens should not be allowed to side-step the law and vote.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WTH????
************
Some states and municipalities have registered non-citizen “so they can vote in local elections”. Once registered they have the capability to easily vote in federal elections.
Republican stand as most American do, that no non-citizen should ever be registered to vote.
Motor voter has trashed accountability in those states that use it.
when they first started chipping away at this, my first thought was 2 separate ballots - one for citizens and one for non-citizens. Haven’t got there yet...I guesss
