Thanks for that, it squares with my bio-scientist relative’s take that this virus doesn’t mutate, it weakens and will die out on it’s own, unless faster by way of vaccine. He is a believer in vaccines, but then he’s working in that field directly. He calls Pfizer a monopoly, BTW, and says this virus is helping bring more competition to the industry and will cause a good result.

Agreed. All this gubmint land is precisely what our founders sought to avoid.
I can hold with a limited - limited - number of Nat’l parks for public use. Because I have spent many economical, fabulous vacations hiking, kayaking. But what gubmint has is exceeding that and not for public use.

It won’t die out, it will still be around but be mostly weak, just like each year’s influenza.
